As the road to SuperShow II continues and the ink drys on match contracts, many Pennsylvania Premiere Wrestling competitors will look to a variety of motivational techniques to prepare themselves for their respective matches. Some we use music, others will use prayer; however, some will simply use the memory of their recent PPW losses as motivation. One of those PPW competitors is Christina Marie, who lost her PPW Women's Championship to Mercedes Martinez at Throwdown on 5th Street.
Christina Marie will get that chance to bounce back at Super Show II when she faces Nyla Rose, one of the best female competitors in professional wrestling. Nyla Rose will be competing at “Double or Nothing “ as a competitor on the active roster of All Elite Wrestling, a new wrestling company being established by Cody Rhodes, the Young Bucks and Kenny Omega. With Rose's selection to become an active female competitor on the All Elite Wresting roster, she solidified herself at the pointiest tip of the spear in the realm of women`s professional wrestling.
“The pointiest tip of the spear” is a place that Christiana Marie would like to be, and certainly a victory over Nyla Rose would help a career in the resume department. Marie is going to need to put the thought of losing the PPW Women's Championship last month aside, and Nyla Rose needs to step back from her “Double or Nothing” training and focus on a young and hungry competitor.
Will Christina be able to rebound after last month's crushing loss? Or will Nyla prove that she is one of the most feared women in professional wrestling for a reason?
