Christina to Defend Gold Against 3 Other Women

By: Mitchell Frantz

Ever since she defeated Mercedes Martinez for the PPW Women’s Championship at Heat Blast in July, Christina Marie has had a stranglehold on the gold.

She had a hotly contested battle with international star Holidead for the gold in Scranton at Brawl in the Mall in August, but has refused to defend the championship since.

At PPW Resistance on December 21st at the Holy Family Academy in Hazleton, Marie will have no choice but to face three high-level competitors for her gold.

The first woman is an international star in Veda Scott. Veda has already taken on Christina Marie during Christina’s first reign with the gold back in February, but the dynamic is completely changed when there are multiple people in a match, something Veda will look to take advantage of. Veda has the experience factor heading into the contest as well, something that she will certainly look to use to her advantage.

Another competitor in the contest is a woman Christina knows very well, Adena Steele. Steele has been on the opposite side of the ring from the Women’s Champion multiple times during Marie’s reign, but has yet to earn a championship match. That will all change on Saturday, December 21st, as the heavily-tattooed Steele will look to give Marie her comeuppance.

The final woman in the match is the biggest wild-card, Dani Mo. Dani is one half of The Neon Blondes alongside Facade, but has only ever been seen in PPW managing “The Neon Ninja.” At Resistance, Dani has the opportunity to do the unthinkable and win the PPW Women’s Championship in her debut match. Dani has already provided plenty of highlights for PPW fans, busting out a few Canadian Destroyers on Desean Pratt at Fight Night in October and Overdrive in November. If she is capable of pulling off such a difficult move, something tells this writer that she has a lot more tricks up her sleeve that the other women in the match may not be prepared for.

Will Christina Marie prove why she has been the most decorated woman in PPW history? Will Veda Scott’s experience and star power carry her to the PPW Women’s Championship? Will Adena Steele finally reach the mountaintop and knock Christina of her throne? Or will Dani Mo earn the gold in her first ever PPW match?

Find out which outcome occurs on Saturday, December 21st when PPW presents Resistance! Also set to appear are ECW legend The Blue Meanie, South Philly’s Finest, PPW Heavyweight Champion Clutch Adams, “The Neon Ninja” Facade, The Sambo Show, PPW Television Champion Johnny Moran, PPW No Limits Champion Isaak Ruhl, PPW Tag Team Champions The Mane Event, Sebastian Cage, KC Navarro and more!
