AEW competitor/producer Billy Gunn will be in action on January 25th!
Knowing a thing or 2 about tag team wrestling, the 11-time WWE Tag Team Champion will team with one of the best teams in all of PPW, The Sambo Show. The trio will take on former PPW Tag Team Champions Punk Rock All Stars as well as Chris Banks.
Billy Gunn has been a WWE Tag Team Champion with 3 different men: Bart Gunn as The Smoking Gunns, Road Dogg as the New Age Outlaws, and Chuck Palumbo as Billy & Chuck.
The Sambo Show are unlike anything Gunn has teamed with before. The explosive Syler Andrews has a skill set that perfectly compliments the technically proficient Sam Adams, making them one of the best teams around today.
That is not to discredit their opponents. The Punk Rock All Stars are one of the most decorated teams in PPW history, picking up victories by whatever means necessary along the way. Their shortcut taking method landed them the second longest PPW Tag Team Championship reign in history.
Chris Banks is a wild card in this contest. The cocky yet chiseled New York native is explosive between the ropes and arrogant outside of them. Picking up a win here would open a ton of eyes in PPW management.
