High Voltage Recap: New Champs Crowned, Vinyer Advances

By: Mitchell Frantz

This past Sunday featured another great show, this one featuring a major championship change!

The Sambo Show was able to defeat The Awakening (formerly known as The Ascension), former 6-time PPW Tag Team Champions South Philly’s Finest and reigning champions The Mane Event to win their first ever PPW Tag Team Championships!

“El Lobo” Syler Andrews and “Mr. Good Luck” Samuel Adams have achieved individual success in PPW, as Andrews was a former Television Champion and Adams was a former Heavyweight Champion, but the two best friends were able to put their complimentary styles together and emerge as champions on this fateful night in Brodheadsville, Pennsylvania.

Elsewhere on the show, “Firework” Foxx Vinyer was able to knock off former PPW Heavyweight Champion Mr. James as well as current MLW star Richard Holliday to move on to the semifinals of the PPW Heavyweight Championship tournament. Vinyer will meet the winner of the Encore-Facade-Desean Pratt triple threat match On July 17th at “Let It Roll” at the August show, “Aerial Assault.”

To open the show, three relative unknowns to the PPW Nation, Dustin “Flash” Waller, Kylon King and Marcel “Showtime” Williams came out and put on an incredible match that set the tone for the rest of the episode. In the end, Waller was able to emerge victorious. While the three were not known to PPW fans before the match, the trio certainly put fans on notice that you can only expect the best up-and-coming talent to clash in a PPW ring.

Join us next week for a brand new episode of High Voltage! The main event of that show will be the much anticipated bout between KC Navarro and Davey Richards!
