For the longest time in PPW, KC Navarro has wanted an one-on-one match for the PPW Heavyweight Championship.
It did not matter whether it was Sean Carr, Evander James or even Austin Aries. Navarro simply wanted the opportunity to prove himself when he was alone in the ring with the champ.
“The Skyreaper” has been involved in plenty of multi-man matches for the PPW Heavyweight Championship throughout 2019, particularly in a ladder match at New Beginnings in January, as well as a scramble match Turning Point last month.
On Saturday, December 21st at the Holy Family Academy, KC Navarro takes on PPW Heavyweight Champion Clutch Adams for the gold.
Clutch has had one of the most impressive beginnings to his PPW Heavyweight Championship reign of all time. He started his reign off by defeating Austin Aries for the gold (albeit thanks to some help from Johnny Moran), and has defended his championship against five of the very best that PPW has to offer. At Turning Point, “The Spectacle” won a scramble match that involved Navarro, Charles Mason, Facade, Evander James and Desean Pratt. Then, the following night, he was able to defeat Facade, James, Pratt and BLK Jeez in a 5-person scramble.
With six weeks between his reigns, Clutch has been able to recover and rest up ahead of his contest at Resistance.
Will “The Spectacle” be able to put KC Navarro away once and for all? Or will the Miami native win his elusive first PPW Heavyweight Championship?
Find out on Saturday, December 21st when PPW presents Resistance! Also set to appear are ECW legend The Blue Meanie, former Ring of Honor star Veda Scott, “The Neon Ninja” Facade with Dani Mo, PPW Television Champion Johnny Moran, PPW Women’s Champion Christina Marie, PPW Tag Team Champions The Mane Event, Sebastian Cage, SPF and more!
