Keller, McMurphy to Battle in Championship Tournament

By: Mitchell Frantz

The final qualifying match for the PPW Heavyweight Championship tournament is set to take place on July 17th when Breaux Keller takes on Killian McMurphy!

“The Closer” Joey Martinez and “Firework” Fox Vinyer have already punched their tickets for the next tournament semi finals, while Facade, Encore and Desean Pratt will battle to determine the third spot.

Breaux has to be considered one of the favorites of the tournament, as he was scheduled to compete for the PPW Heavyweight Championship in a ladder match at Super Show 3 before the pandemic hit. He drew a tough first round matchup however, as “The Shooter” McMurphy made an immediate impact at his debut in the Resolution Rumble in January of 2020, last the second longest of any competitor in the contest, only behind now Television Champion Andy Header.

These two are both great competitors but only one can emerge victorious. Will it be “All Energy” Breaux Keller? Or will Killian McMurphy continue to make major waves here in PPW?
