"The Birdman" Koko B. Ware will be in action on Saturday August 10th at the Marketplace at Steamtown!
On Koko's team will be former PPW Television Champion John Wes, as well as a debuting competitor in Matt Turner!
Koko's track record speaks for itself, including a prestigious WWE Hall of Fame induction. While he is no longer the competitor he once was, "The Birdman" still has some gas left in the tank between the ropes.
John Wes has been a veteran in PPW for a good while, and is one of the longest reigning PPW Television Champions of all time. His Iron Fist has knocked many opponents out, and he will look to knock out anybody who plays a finger on Koko.
The third man is a relative unknown to the PPW Nation in Matt Turner, but do not underestimate him or his experience. The Old Forge native was trained by CM Punk and has been wrestling for 15 years. He is a Ring of Honor training school graduate, and he is known for rocking an arm sleeve as well as for his Fujiwara Armbar that causes any man to tap out.
The trio are taking on RJS, Alexander Bateman, and a mystery partner. RJS and Alexander Bateman both train at the Underdogs Training School under the tutelage of Mikey Whipwreck. The two men are in for a tremendous opportunity if they can team up and defeat Koko and company in their first ever matches on the purple and gold brand.
