A major tag team match has just been announced for Let It Roll on July 17th, as former PPW Tag Team Champions The Mane Event will team with former Attitude Era star Gangrel against former 6-time PPW Tag Team Champions South Philly's Finest and former WWE star Afa Jr.!
Afa Jr. and South Philly's Finest have been in the ring together before, but it was on opposite teams. In fact, at Halloween Havok in October of 2014, South Philly's Finest actually teamed with Gangrel and Tommy Suede in a victorious effort against Afa Jr., Danny Maff, Havoc and Lance Anoa'i. Now, with a new, nasty attitude, South Philly's tenacity will align with the savageness of Afa Jr..
Meanwhile, on the opposite side of the canvas, The Mane Event are fresh off of losing their PPW Tag Team Championships to The Sambo Show in a match that also involved the aforementioned SPF, as well as The Awakening (formerly known as the Ascension). Looking for revenge, Midas Black and Jay Lyon look to take out their frustrations on a former PPW Heavyweight Champion in Afa Jr. as well as the most decorated team in PPW history in South Philly's Finest.
As mentioned before, Gangrel is not a completely new face to PPW, last competing at the Halloween Havok event in 2014. The blood-sipping star is most notably known for his time in WWE as the leader of both The Brood and The New Brood, the former with Edge and Christian, and the latter with the Hardy Boyz.
Will Gangrel and The Mane Event pull off the victory? Or will the team of PPW veterans in Afa Jr. and South Philly's Finest emerge victorious?
