Matt Sydal Set To Battle For Clutch's Title At PPW Last Call

By: Michael Pagano

After finding a way to get by Breaux Keller a few weeks ago at PPW Countdown thanks to a disqualification, PPW Heavyweight Champion Clutch Adams will have a new opponent come PPW Last Call.

Some might say this man is a high flyer, some might say he gets ridiculous airtime on his shooting star press, this man's name is Matt Sydal and yes folks he will be Clutch’s opponent at PPW Last Call on March 21st. It was announced at PPW Countdown that Sydal would be in action, and he will be challenging Clutch Adams for the PPW Heavyweight Championship.

Sydal rose to prominence as Evan Bourne in WWE, where he wowed audiences with his high-flying maneuvers, while also becoming a WWE tag-team champion with Kofi Kingston as “Air Boom.” Sydal has also wrestled for companies such as Ring of Honor, Impact Wrestling, and New Japan Pro Wrestling.

With all this being said, Clutch Adams has become synonymous with walking away with his title “by hook or by crook” as Paul Bo would put it. He found a way to retain his title against Teddy Hart and fan favorite “The Neon Ninja” Facade. You have to believe that Clutch will be ready for the high-flying offense of Sydal, as he has already seen it from Hart, Facade, and Breaux Keller in previous matches.

With that being said though, Matt Sydal has won championships all over the country and would be happy to add the PPW Heavyweight Championship to his list of accomplishments in professional wrestling. Clutch better bring his A game, but if we know anything about the champ, it’s that he always has a trick or two up his sleeve coming into any match.
