Word from PPW officials are that Jason King has informed them of not being able to compete next week in Scranton – or for some time after, according to King's doctors. King will be out a few months with an undisclosed injury which he received in the match with Johnny Moran last month. This leaves Johnny Moran without an opponent to defend the PPW Television Championship against.
Moran walks into the Marketplace at Steamtown as the hometown favorite. The “Son of Scranton” will have his fans in his hometown, but it's his opponent that he's most concerned about. Moran has opened up an Open Challenge in Scranton for his PPW Television Championship.
Although we're unsure of his opponents or who answers the challenge, we are sure of one thing – anyone who's looking to make their name in PPW is free to step out of the back and challenge for a title. With this being the case, Moran is expected to have a lot of interest this Saturday night.
