Four months of waiting to crown a new PPW Heavyweight Champion has come down to two competitors. Breaux Keller. Joey Martinez. One of these two men will be the next PPW Heavyweight Champion!
This tournament started in June with 11 competitors. In the first round, Joey Martinez defeated Bull Hightower and Prince Noah to advance to the semi finals. Breaux Keller meanwhile defeated Killian McMurphy to advance to the semifinals. In the semi final matches, Martinez defeated Foxx Vinyer, while Keller defeated Encore. Now, on September 11th, these two men will compete to determine the next PPW Heavyweight Champion.
The two men have made this bout highly personal. As soon as Keller defeated Encore, Martinez came out to confront Breaux. This resulted in a major brawl that took numerous people to break up. Coming out of the night, there were reports of another brawl in the backstage area involving the two.
The two men genuinely do not like each other, and are fighting for the most prestigious championship in the entire company. Will Keller be able to win the big one in PPW? Or will Joey Martinez play spoiler for the crowd favorite? How will “The Closer” utilize his manager, Mr. Ruda to gain an upper hand?
