The qualifying round of the PPW TV Title Tournament is set for this PPW Countdown on February 15th in Hazleton, Pennsylvania. The winner of each match will move on to face one another next month to determine the true #1 contender for the PPW Television Championship. From there, the #1 Contender will get a Television Championship shot in April at Super Show 3.
This match in particular will pit PPW No Limits Champion Issak Ruhl, Andy Header, Rembrandt and Vinny Pacifico in a qualifying match.
For PPW No Limits Champion Issak Ruhl, the opportunity was just too much to pass up. Being asked by PPW management to be involved in this match, Ruhl's No Limit's Championship helps him gain enough momentum to try for more gold at PPW Countdown.
For Andy Header its about more than that. Header made it a point to last the longest in the Rumble, with some reports even coming out that he was hoping for an early entry so he could prove himself to PPW management. It worked. Header has been motioning to PPW officials to put him in an opportunity for gold in Hazleton. With his showing in the Rumble, Header could potentially be the one to look out for in this entire tournament.
Rembrandt is coming off a massive leg injury a few months ago that helped him show his heart to the PPW Nation. Rembrandt finished the match through a ton of pain and gained tons of respect from the PPW Nation.
Vinny Pacifico comes back to PPW and is looking to earn his way onto the PPW roster fulltime. A great way to do that is by defeating three other top competitors. He has a chance in this match. Pacifico may be the darkhorse in this tournament, but Pacifico is extremely talented and very capable of winning this entire thing.
It all goes down Saturday February 15th in Hazleton at Holy Family Academy. Special guests that night will be former WWE stars The Headbangers (Mosh and Thrasher). Tickets are on sale now at the PPW Shop arly http://www.ppwwrestling.com/shop!
