The war between Antonio Rivera and Drew Adams will add another chapter on Saturday, February 15th, as Rivera will team with Adena Steele to take on Adams and the debuting Layna Lennox.
"The Dominican Dream" and Drew Adams seemed to actually be friends at one point. The two entered the PPW Tag Team Rumble back in July together, with Adams eliminating his own partner in the contest. Rivera was like a man possessed trying to get a piece of Adams, but the Honesdale native swore that it was a misunderstanding, and Rivera believed him.
Rivera eventually saw threw the rich kid's lies, and they have had it out for each other since. Adams has paid Johnny Moran $1,000 over the course of 2 months to try and take out his enemy, but that plan has backfired. Adams has also cost Rivera opportunities at the PPW Television Championships in the past.
Last month at the PPW Resolution Rumble, "The Dominican Dream" took out Drew Adams before Adams could ever enter in the contest.
With the hostility between the two at an all time high, Adams will look to be resourceful to avoid getting in the grips of "The Dominican Dream."
As for the ladies in the contest, Adena Steele is a fan favorite fresh off of a victory in tag team action alongside Dani Mo over PPW Women's Champion Christina Marie and The Ultra Violette.
Layna Lennox is going to be making her PPW debut at Countdown, and is known for her 80's look and style, as well as devastating spinebusters.
