The Brooklyn Brawler is Coming to Hazleton

Beloved former WWE competitor Steve Lombardi, more popularly known as The Brooklyn Brawler, is set to make an appearance at PPW Resolution on January 25th, 2020!

The Brooklyn Brawler was known throughout his 15 year WWE career as mainly an enhancement talent, beginning in 1983 under his real name and entering a semi-retirement in 1998 under his Brooklyn Brawler persona. During his 15 years on screen, Lombardi also played the roles of Abe "Knuckleball" Schwartz, Kim Chee, Doink The Clown, MVP and The Red Knight.

The highlight of his career came when he won a 20 man over the top rope battle royal for an opportunity at the WWF Championship. In his championship match against then-champion Shawn Michaels, The Brooklyn Brawler dominated throughout, and the match actually ended with Chyna and Triple H interfering on behalf of HBK. In all, Lombardi's tenure with WWE lasted 33 years, serving as mainly a road agent for the company after his semi-retirement while also occasionally wrestling. His last match came in 2013, where he lost to Ryback.
