This past Saturday at PPW Home of the Brave, Tom Mitchell made his singles debut against Joey Martinez. Both men gave it their all in what was an amazing bout.
In the end Tom Mitchell prevailed over Joey Martinez in his singles debut; however, it came at an extreme cost. Following the match, an enraged Joey Martinez took out his anger on Tom Mitchell by attacking him after the bell, and severely injuring his ankle.
It was unknown at the time the severity of the injury, but Doctor Frank said it didn’t look good. After further evaluation, it has been determined that Tom will be out 6-8 weeks.
Due to this diagnosis, Tom Mitchell will be out for PPW Reloaded. He will be reevaluated in the future to determine his progress and see if he will be out of action for PPW IX in September as well.
