Vinyer and the Punk Rock All Stars Look for Continued Success Against The Mane Event and Mantequilla

By: Jessica McKeown

Pennsylvania Premiere Wrestling has an action-packed show lined up already for PPW Juiced this month. The in-ring excitement amps up with a six-man tag team competition set for one fall. And with the prior experience most of these competitors have with the promotion and its roster, bodies will fly and slam and shake Hazleton’s grounds.

Punk Rock All Stars (Drake Carter and Shaun Cannon) will team up with Foxx Vinyer to face the competition and make Pennsylvania Premiere Wrestling remember their names and their history with the company. The team reigned as the tag team champion for the majority of late 2018 before losing their titles to South Philly’s Finest. With five years of teamwork on their part (and their decision to bring on a fresh face in Vinyer, who has prior singles and tag team championships with other promotions), they are set on showing off just what made them champions in the first place.

Their prior championship reign, however, does not necessarily prepare them for the team of The Mane Event (Midas Black and Jay Lyon) and prior Pennsylvania Premiere Wrestling competitor Mantequilla. The Mane Event, which is one of the most entertaining pairs in professional wrestling today, will look to focus less on humor and more on seriousness as they try to avoid a defeat to the trio of Vinyer, Carter and Cannon in consecutive months.

Teaming up with current singles and tag team champion (SWF and HOG, respectively) Mantequilla gives them a special advantage that they did not have the month prior. He competed for the No Limits Title twice back in August and September of 2018 against Majestic Noah, Blaxtrum (August), and British Wolf (September). He knows his competition, and he has no problem gliding and flying through the ring to prove what he’s got.

Two teams. Six men with something to prove. Only half will leave victorious…but which team will it be? Come out to PPW Juiced on February 16 to see who comes out the winner!
