Vance Suffers Torn ACL

By: Nick Uliana

Unfortunate news coming out of this weekend's slate of professional wrestling events, as Cody Vance, a newer addition to the PPW roster, suffered a torn ACL. The standard time table for a return to the ring is about 6 to 12 months.

Therefore, Vance will be unable to compete in the triple threat match between himself, Mike Orlando and Evander James on March 16th at PPW Throwdown in 5th Street that will determine a new number one contender to the PPW Heavyweight Championship. Therefore, the match will become a singles match between James and Orlando.

Vance made his PPW debut against Sam Adams at Slay Bells Ringing in December, wrestling to a double disqualification when Sean Carr interfered. Vance was last spotted in PPW at One Night Only: New Beginnings where he was part of the ladder match for the PPW Heavyweight Championship that was a match of the year candidate.

Vance also appeared on WWE RAW a few weeks ago when he played the role of a security guard during a brawl between Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey.

PPW wishes Cody a speedy recovery and hopes to see him in the ring soon.
