As PPW steamrolls towards it’s 6th Anniversary show, a golden opportunity will await four of the best teams the Hazleton-based promotion has to offer. The Sambo Show, the Punk Rock All Stars, The Mane Event, and South Philly’s Finest will all do battle in a ladder match, with the winning team earning the coveted Golden Ticket briefcase, guaranteeing a PPW Tag Team Championship opportunity anywhere and anytime the winning team desires.
The Mane Event and The Sambo Show had to earn their opportunities last month in Scranton. The Sambo Show are fresh off a win on PPW High Voltage last Sunday against The Diamond City War Machines, while The Mane Event were victorious against the Sons of Dogtown. The Punk Rock All Stars and South Philly’s Finest did not have to qualify for the finals on September 21st because they are both former champions, thus giving them automatically entry to the finals.
Current champions Sent 2 Slaughter have vowed not to come back to PPW until management brings in actual competition, so all 4 of these teams would love nothing more than to bring the fight that Danny Maff and Shawn Donavan desire.
The stakes for all four teams have never been higher, as a ladder match is a dangerous and seldom-used stipulation in PPW. The last time the purple and gold company saw a ladder match was back in January when Impact stormed PPW for the first time at New Beginnings.
Careers will be shortened, bodies will be broken, and in the end, one team will emerge with the opportunity of a lifetime. A golden opportunity nonetheless.
Find out which team will leave with the briefcase on Saturday, September 21st at PPW VI! Appearing live alongside these four teams will be former UFC Heavyweight Champion Frank Mir, former Impact Heavyweight and Ring of Honor World Champion Austin Aries, former WWE stars Enzo Amore, Big Cass, and Rhyno and former Impact star Madison Rayne!
