Mane Event Moves Onward to Face Sons of Dogtown

By: Nick Uliana

Stepping into the ring as new pair in a loaded tag team division can be a dauting task; this dauting task only becomes more difficult when you have to face one of the best and most experienced tag teams in the division. This will be the task for the Sons of Dogtown, consisting of Rembrandt Lewis and Toasty Tomm. The name is inspired by the 2005 film “Lords of Dogtown”, which told the story of three young men's journey through the surfing and skateboarding culture of 1970's California.

One of the best and most beloved tag teams, which the duo will face at PPW's historic Brawl at the Mall, is none other than the Mane Event, the team of Jay Lyon and Midas Black. Combining both athleticism and unmatched teamwork, Mane Event has propelled themselves towards the top of the PPW tag team division. However, they will looking to rebound after coming up short in the tag team triple threat match against both South Philly's Finest and PPW Tag Team Champions Sent 2 Slaughter.

Both of these team have something to prove, as well as a lot to gain. The winning team will move onto the finals of the Golden Ticket Tag Team Qualifiers, and will take on either the Diamond City War Machines or The Sambo Show next month at PPW's 6th Anniversary show. The team that wins there will earn a championship match anytime that they want.

Can the Sons of Dogtown made an early impressive addition to their resume by defeating Mane Event? Or with the more experienced team get the best of their younger adversaries? Get tickets to PPW's historic Brawl at the Mall event at
