Teddy Hart to Face Clutch for PPW Heavyweight Championship

By: Mitchell Frantz

It wasn’t too long ago that Clutch Adams faced off against Teddy Hart.

On this past week’s episode of High Voltage, Clutch Adams faced off against a surprise opponent, who happened to be none other than “The Angel of Life and Death” himself. A timely distraction from Evander James allowed for Hart to pick up the win on that evening when they last met.

This time around, implications will be much higher as Teddy Hart will face off against Clutch Adams with Clutch’s PPW Heavyweight Championship on the line in Honesdale.

Clutch had an unexpected Arrogance of Excellence reunion at PPW Full Moon with Johnny Moran, which caught fans and former PPW Heavyweight Champion Austin Aries off guard. A grab of the feet by Johnny Moran and with senior official Jeff Carden distracted counting the pinfall allowed for Clutch to win his first ever PPW Heavyweight Championship. WIth the momentous victory, “The Spectacle” became the first man in PPW History to hold the Heavyweight, Television and Tag Team Championships.

The 22-year veteran Hart on the other hand has wrestled everywhere and is a graduate of the famous Hart Dungeon. He is a member of the Hart family and is regarded as one of the best wrestlers in the world today. He has proven his worth in PPW by defeating Breaux Keller and Charles Mason in a triple threat match in order to become the number one contender.

Will Clutch be successful in his first title defense? Or will Teddy Hart end “The Spectacle’s” reign after only one week? Will Johnny Moran play a role at ringside for Clutch once again?
